I was born on a cold November night in 1985,
The nurse just kept on pinching me hoping I would cry,
To get back I then grabbed her nose & happily began to sway
She gave me one tight slap and said – Andy ,tu rehne de
As a kid I longed to roll in mud and eat with dirty hands,
Steal a candy from candyman, build sandcastles in sands,
All I needed was to cross the street where all miracles lay,
But mom kept holding my hand to say – Andy, tu rehne de
And then there was this girl I digged, cutest smile under the sky,
With rosy cheeks & bouncy hair & twinkle in the eye,
Red rose in hand I went to her on Valentine’s Day,
With pity looks she smiled & said – Andy, tu renhe de
At work I slogged & slogged & slogged, till morning turned to night,
My boss was worse than Hari Sadu, he just wouldn’t give respite,
Appraisal Day, I knocked his door, hoping promotion in some way,
With taunting eyes he waved me off – Andy, tu rehne de
I had two kids – a handsome boy and a baby girl too,
I thought I’ll take them boating trip and take them to the zoo,
Take out time from work I will, with kids then I shall play,
But baby girl moved her baby lips – Daddy, tu rehne de
And so I turned a grey old man with ailments as my friends,
Diabetes and heart attacks and growing sugar trends,
To doc I said – Mate give me meds, to keep these things at bay,
He shook his head and sadly said – Andy, tu rehne de
Then one fine day I left the world and reached the pearly gates,
Heavens had increased their fees, hell had reasonable rates,
“O almighty! Just get me through to heaven!” I would pray,
To this He raised his blessed hand and said - Andy…………. :D
oops nothing is written wens ur wife gonna say - Andy, tu rehne de ;)
